I am Linus Rogge, a Hamburg based creative designer and developer focused on user-friendly experiences all across web, mobile and desktop. In over five years of experience, I have worked at multiple start-ups and currently work as a self-employed freelancer. In recent months, I started building up my own design and product development studio, together with this exceptional team.
Also, I am interested in aesthetics in other areas of life, such as architecture and interior, fashion and the art of photography. As a lover of minimalism and simplicity, I strive to make more sustainable and intentional descisions and focus on what's essential for me in life.
Throughout the years of exploring the endless possibilities of design and development, my wish of working as an independant creative has grown rapidly. In february 2020 yep, that year! I took the leap and started my freelance career. Since then, I had the pleasure to work on projects such as Major Keys or Halloluise.

Our vision is to make it easier for you to plan meetups with friends or to organize your next family trip – without annoying whatsapp groups or endless forwarded emails. You can pick a date, a location, add some details and send a link to all your friends to invite them.
Internship @ Appmotion 3 WEEKS, SEP 2019 – OCT 2019
The time I was able to spend at Appmotion was of great experience, a lot of fun and learnings. Before I started, I was a bit worried that I might've expected too much from it, but I definitely did not. I truly enjoyed every single moment and a great team of inspiring designers, developers and other fancy roles you have in a company.
To be honest, I feel like in these three weeks, I learned more (valuable) things than in one year of school, which is pretty heavy. But getting insights on how work in a company goes was an indispensable adventure; Thanks for having me!

Endlich sein können, wer ich wirklich bin 2021,German
A personal and vulnerable story about coming out to my parents. English version here
"My guest today is Linus Rogge, a young 15-year-old student and self-taught web developer and designer from Hamburg Germany. It has been an interest of mine to be able to chat with someone as young as Linus about the future and current state of education. As you guys know I have made education a key conversation point for this season and it is only fitting that we talk to a student who both benefits and disagrees with how students are taught today. Linus is incredibly talented and humble about his views. I hope you all enjoy this conversation as much as I did." — Jay Flores
"Seit der 5ten Klasse befasst sich Linus mit User-Experience Design und Front-End Development. Der heute 15jährige gründete im Februar 2020 seine eigene Firma um als Freelancer arbeiten zu können. Nebenbei wirkt er an drei Start-Ups mit, die ihm sehr am Herzen liegen und besonders zum Lernen eine gute Möglichkeit bieten. […]" — Elmir Ljajic
I have never been a fan of our educational system and how students are taught. Many things are unnecessary, essential areas for the future life completely excluded. To be fair, I did write my first lines of code in school, but also just in a voluntary course. Since then, I gained most of my knowledge from sources outside of school, like YouTube, Medium, or other designers work, projects, and articles.
